"Reimagine an album cover of your choice, using design elements that reflect the themes and songs within."

INSIDE FOLD

This project features a redesign of The Eminem Show album cover, using visual
elements to foreshadow and hint at key themes within the album. A teddy bear in an abandoned room symbolizes the feelings of abandonment Eminem expresses regarding his daughter. A microphone represents his iconic career, while pills highlight his struggle with addiction. A TV stands for his complicated impact on the media, both positive and negative. The focal point of the design is a lone light bulb in an empty room, symbolizing Eminem’s personal loneliness and the way his career has both illuminated and isolated him. This design captures the complex balance between fame, struggles, and inner life throughout the album.
